NOVEMBER BIBLE CONFERENCE
Mobile, Alabama

God willing, I will conduct a Bible Conference the weekend of November 7th and 8th at the Ashbury Hotel and Suites Convention Center (see map location below) in Mobile, AL.  There will be an informal get-together Friday evening of the 6th for early arrivals.

Lectures will begin Saturday morning at 9am in the spacious Dogwood Ballroom.  They will be about 50 minutes long with ten minute breaks between sessions.  There will be three sessions in the morning;  three sessions in the afternoon;  and three on Sunday morning.

Ashbury is providing us with excellent room rates:

One Bedroom Suites are $110

Rates are subject to 14% lodging tax.  A hot buffet breakfast comes complimentary with every room, and coffee will be served during each morning session.
 

TENTATIVE BIBLE CONFERENCE SUBJECTS

All lectures will directly pertain to you and your walk with God.  Here are some of the topics I hope to cover:

ARE YOU  "...YET CARNAL"?   Remember, Jesus said: "Many are called, but few are chosen."

Why are not all the called also chosen?
Did the Corinthians know they were "yet carnal"?
What distinguishes the two categories?
What is the difference between the sheep and the goats?
Does Satan have you in his hip pocket without you even knowing it?

DO YOU DESPISE GOD AND HIS WORD?  This is one of the most important subjects I have ever covered.  The topic will be turned into a full page bible-truths.com article.  There are few Christians indeed who believe all of God's Word or fear to misinterpret any of it.  Even the many who believe in the salvation of all have a major problem with this topic.  What about you?  You need to hear this study.

HOW MUST WE WORSHIP GOD?  Most Christians have not a clue.  Would you be surprised to learn that my wife's little Shih Tzu puppy worshipped me this morning?  Tis true.  God "seeks" worship, but what is it?  What does He want from us?  Many Christians are too proud to worship God.  Psalm 22:27 tells us that "All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee" (Psalm 22:27).  But just what is it they will do to fulfill this prophecy?  There are very specific character traits that are necessary to worship God - do you know what they are?
 
WHY CAN'T YOU OVERCOME SOME OF YOUR SINS?

Why are many Christians spiritually frustrated?
Who or what are your enemies, and how are you to do battle against them?
Why are so many loosing the battle and when will they start winning?
Why do many Scriptures regarding victory over the flesh seem to not apply to you?
Has God called you only to become a failure in life?
When and how will things ever change in your spiritual life?
Do you need to learn more doctrines to better argue the Scriptures with others?
Is there a way to know how God views your spirituality right now, today?

HOW CAN YOU QUALIFY FOR RULER-SHIP IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD WITH JESUS, IF YOU HAVE NO MONEY, NO POSSESSIONS, NO EDUCATION, AND NO TALENTS?

How can God accomplish anything by choosing the weak and foolish people of this world?
How can God build the greatest world-ruling kingdom that ever existed around people like us?
Can we enter the Kingdom of God "just as we are?"
What treasures do you have on account in heaven?
What qualifications are you planning to offer the Kingdom of God?
Paul says we must qualify for the Kingdom.  How does that square with grace?

WE MUST "KEEP THE UNITY OF THE SPIRIT" ... TILL WE ALL COME IN "THE UNITY OF THE FAITH, AND OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE SON OF GOD, UNTO A PERFECT MAN [WOMAN] UNTO THE MEASURE OF THE STATURE OF CHRIST."

What does that mean, and how in the world are we to accomplish it?
What is it that God will give us in the resurrection that we don’t have now?
And what must we first accomplish (through God of course) in this life to be in the resurrection to receive the other?  etc., etc..

We are going to get "up close and personal" at this Conference.  God will surely bless your efforts to be there!
