"THEY SHALL PUT YOU OUT OF THE SYNAGOGUES..."

Hi my name is Kathy,

I was one of Jehovah's Witnesses for 25yrs.  I was willing to die for my faith.  The last 5 yrs I felt a shifting going on inside of me.  My brother in law committed suicide in his wife presence after he was disfellowshiped from that org.  What terrified me was how quickly they (elders) tried to removed it from our reality. It was a wake up call to me. I began to question the watchtower org. and in time was disfellowshiped myself.

My heart knew that God wasn't going to destroy me.  But the question was where do I go.  I got on line and surfed till I was sea sick!  Many one things lead to another and there you were!  I have to read and reread, stop and ponder.  It feels like your info is a bulldozer clearing out the garbage in my mind.

Thank you so much for your perseverance!

Dear Kathy:

I can certainly identity with your situation. I have personally, as have ALL who eventually come to the Truth, gone through numerous "harlots of the Great Whore" before God opened my mind up to His spiritual Truths.  There is a line in a hymn that goes: "Where could I go but TO THE LORD?"

When you find GOD, Kathy, your search for the right "church" will be over!!!

I do not belong to, nor do I attend, ANY institutionalized church of men. I am, however, a member of The Body of Christ--The Church of THE LIVING GOD. And those of us that I am aware of, have to travel many hundreds of miles to occasionally fellowship together (as I did this past weekend, traveling a total of fourteen hundreds miles to gather with others of like mind for the weekend).

Sometimes our fellowship is only with Jesus Christ and our Heavenly Father, but that's okay.

I have had many Jehovah's Witnesses read my material on our site. Most have little interest in the Truth, however.

May God grant you the insight to be different.   Unfortunately, you have had to experience this profound prophecy in your own family:

" These things have I spoke unto you, that ye should not be offended. They shall put you out of the synagogues [or kingdom halls]; yea, the time comes, that whosoever kills you [or your brother-in-law] will think that he does God service" (John 16:1)!!

And why do they do such cowardly and evil things to the flock?

" And these things will they do unto you, because they have NOT KNOWN THE FATHER, NOR ME [Jesus Christ]" (Verse 3)!!!

Don't sorrow, Kathy, but rather REJOICE that you have been accounted worthy so suffer such things for your faith in Jesus Christ!

Let me know if you have any specific questions on anything, or if I can be of any other help to you in this time of severe trial.

God be with you,

Ray

[Another email from another person tossed out]

Hi Ray!

Remember those positive responses I told you about?  They changed their minds.   They threw me out of the church!  Not everybody, just my fellow pastors.

Other issues existed that really caused their anger, but in the end they used my "Jesus is Savior of All Men" teaching as the reason.  They read to me from Galatians and told me about "other Gospels" and demanded that if I did not renounce this teaching publicly they would "remove" me from the church.   You should have seen the hate on the faces of these men.  It was disgusting.

I answered, "Let me get this straight, if I don't renounce what I believe, you are going to put me out of the synagogue?"  And they said, "Yes".

In the wake of all this, God gave me the honor of ministering to a young man that had tried to commit suicide mostly due to his inability to follow all the rules he knew he should follow to be a good Christian.  All his attempts to "get it right" ended in despair.  The strength of God's love that I first learned from you was instrumental in bringing healing to this young man and today he walks in confidence of the Love his Lord has for him.

Thank you for all you do and may God bless you through all the persecution that come at you as you stand for the truth about our glorious savior who IS the SAVIOR OF ALL MEN!!

Dear Jerry:

WOW! What can I say, Welcome to the Church of the Living God! Jesus said, "If they persecuted me THEY WILL PERSECUTE YOU!"  You are now living proof, Jerry.

But, hey, you already helped one poor soul back to the road of recovery.

God be with you!

Sincerely,

Ray

I just want to applaud you for your work on proving that the Bible is really about, and for spreading the REAL word of God.

I am in no way what the mass would consider religious. I do believe in God and Jesus Christ, but the Bible just seems to be a book of riddles and contradictions to me.

On my search for some answers, I found your website, and I'm so amazed at all the information and truth you give. Everything that I have been suspecting about the Bible and the Christian church, you have proven.

A couple of days ago, I went to a Christian church where a family member of mine was to be baptized. Since I, and three other's, were "visitors," we were singled out, told to stand, told of the fiery pits in Hell where we might burn, give our names and our church affiliations. In front of the whole church! Since I am not a "churchgoer," I, and the others, were forced to go to a back room where each of us was lectured on the Bible, and told that we MUST go to a Christian church. I told them that I wasn't from their city, and they insisted on getting my name, address, and phone number so that they can find a suitable (Christian) church for me in my area. I mentioned that I grew up in a Catholic home, and I was informed that Catholics do NOT practice what they preach; they do NOT speak directly to God when they give sermons (??); and the Bible that Catholics use is NOT the original Bible. They claim that their Bible has been proven over and over again that it is the "original."

Anyway, when I got home, I was so angry. I am completely convinced the Christian church is a cult.

I am so sick of being told that because I use the Internet, because I don't attend church every day, because I grew up catholic, because I like to watch movies that sometimes happen to be rated R, or because I like to go dancing with my husband every once and a while, I am unsaved and will burn in Hell for ETERNITY! And, I am so sick of them trying to "convert" me into their religion and forcing their beliefs on me.

I want to thank you for setting the record straight, and exposing the Christian Church as what it really is.

Keep it up!

Jennifer

Dear Jennifer and Husband:

Thank you for your email and kind words.

Be strong in the LORD. You certainly don't need to be forced into some Christian cult who hates Catholics. (I thought that Catholics were Christians too--apparently not to other Christians).

If one only "loves" God out of fear of eternal torture, that love must be shallow indeed.

God be with you and your Husband as you seek God's will in your lives.

Sincerely,

Ray
