Christ My Victory Song

There is a song within my soul
Engraved upon my heart
Pours out from my spirit
Brings faith and hope alive

Christ is my victory song I sing
Yes, He has conquered all for me
I shall rise up to His call
His loving grace has saved my soul

I will sing of Jesus Christ
When I stand upon the rooftops
And when I'm down lonely streets
When I'm in the dessert valleys
And from the highest mountain peaks
For glory is my destination
Jesus Christ my victory

I see there is no way around it
Yea, I have had my ups and downs
This life at times can often be
a roller coaster ride

But there is one thing I must do
My one, my only aspiration
Resolute my motivation
To see my holy transformation

I'm letting go what lies behind
To keep my eyes upon this prize
And I press on to make it mine
So when this earthly life is done
Glory be my destination
Christ my victory song!
