He has let me back in but wont address the truth the way I presented it to him because he can't without falling in a trap and he knows it. I'm trying to draw him into some things that he can't and won't prove.
Don't know why I'm doing this. I just feel like it I guess.

Regarding Fire and Brimstone,
I recall that Ray wrote about that and I think he explained it that Fire provided heat and the brimstone in the fire was a purifying agent.  The brimstone was most likely the chemical sulfur.

Bob

BRIMSTONE:

G2303
theion
Probably neuter of G2304 (in its original sense of flashing); sulphur: - brimstone.

G2304
theios
From G2316; godlike (neuter as noun, divinity): - divine, godhead.

G2316
theos
Of uncertain affinity; a deity, especially (with G3588) the supreme Divinity; figuratively a magistrate; by Hebraism very: - X exceeding, God, god [-ly, -ward].

BRIMSTONE= "Our God is a Consuming Fire"--Hebrews 12:29

Think Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego...

I did manage to get a few comments posted on that site, but now they have me blocked or something.
 I'm signed in as olderthanbefore.

Roy

I saw some comments (good stuff) on the site but when I tried to give you an "Amen" it wouldn't let me.  Oh well.

How is this guy preaching the gospel when he doesn't seem to know it himself?  He thinks God is a loser?  He contradicts himself.  God loves us, he says.  Then he describes him torturing us for eternity with no hope of redemption.  He specifically mentions Muslims, Buddists and Catholics.  Whew!  I'm none of those things.  :-)  I'm simply a follower of Christ.  We are required to love God and one another.  Well, hard to love a God who is the worst terrorist ever, who is so filled with wrath that he will condemn those who never heard of Christ to eternity in his fabled hell.  The most frightening part is that he must be scaring people to death.  He actually addressed children there.  "You will gnash your teeth and blame your friends for leading you into hell".  Give me a break!  This horrible abuse of our Father and His love should be outlawed.  Oops... freedom of speech.  This stuff literally makes me sick.  Well, I guess God put him here with his blasphemous sermon for a reason.  Who am I to second-guess God?

Love and blessings to all of you

Hi Pogo
It took a couple times for my post to show up but it wasn't until I accused him of being offended by the truth that he started to respond and let me post. He is in a corner and he knows it.
Oh well, he put him self out there on a limb to have truth thrown at him. I'm not very good at it but its good practice for me.

Hello Roy,

Just a peaceful word of advice.. be careful out there  :)

Matthew 7:6 You may not be giving that which is holy to curs, nor yet should you be casting your pearls in front of hogs, lest at some time they shall be trampling them with their feet and, turning, they should be tearing you.

Thank you Daywalker. Advice taken. I had a weak moment but now I'm over it. I decided just a few minutes ago to not go there again.

"God is not losing his creation to Satan, God is allowing Satan to have most of His Creation, read Romans 9" - posted by illbehonest on Youtube

I know it's a serious topic, and the stance this guy is taking is a rather tragic and sad stance, but I had to laugh when I read that line!   :o   ;D  So, in essence, God is not simply losing the fight (against Satan), He's actually throwing the fight on purpose?!?  What possible reason would He have to do that?!?!?  Does God have a million-to-one bet riding on Satan at some casino in Vegas or something?

Makes no sense, man!

I tried not to go back to that guy and said I wouldn't, but I did. Why is he letting me post but not others?
The world is full of this kind of crap. Why should I care to give it the time of day?

They finally removed most of the scriptures I quoted and some things that Ray said they wouldn't even post. Now they won't let me post at all. Got me blocked. Oh well.
They simply refuse to see that you can't contradict a literal scripture with a symbolic scripture. They see all scripture as literal, but this is the lieing spirit I guess that God sent them. I have learned something in this small challenge that we can not remove the blinders that God has put on these people no matter how hard we try or how right we are or how bold the scriptures are and how many times the scriptures say that all will be saved, they come back with one symbolic scripture that they think proves all the literal scriptures wrong. Positive proof that God is in Control.

This is why I refrain from getting into "discussions" with hell mongers. They never listen because God has blinded them and it'll be quite a waste of time... But then again, maybe God is using you to sow seeds. :o And there is the part about the foolishness of preaching.

Oh, what a terrible dilemma, but well, you do what you do and it's in God's control. At least we know that much. :)

Well I guess you've "said all that God wanted you to say". Time to shake the dust from your feet and move on, eh?  ;)

Hey Roy,

True that: God is in Control. Maybe those people you spoke with refused to see... but perhaps there was someone else, behind the scenes [so to speak], who only read, but never participated, who did "hear", and perhaps a few people did "see" a glimpse of hope and Truth in your comments before they were erased...

God's Ways are Mysterious :)
