Awwww Jill, sure didn't need that story! Sure sorry about your kitty, that is a nighmare!

This Vet has been reccomended, so is a good one.

JL, the neutering is a must for Buster even though he is an indoors boy.  Males like to mark their terriority and will spray walls, funiture whatever, sooooo~~~~~~  Yes, even so , most indoor or outside animals should be fixed. Some might be used for breeding.

Kat:

Hi meee,

I have two kitties and my daughter just got a Siamese for her boyfriend.  I had to keep the new kitty for a month, until his birthday   :D  I loved having that little guy to play with, he was such a nice kitty.  He just left yesterday, but he's coming back for visits  ;D

I guess I can see your frustration with an aggressive playing cat that scratches your family.  Well I did find this sight that has a lot of info about cat behavior and ways to prevent unwanted things they do.  It also has a good section on declawing, you should be fully informed on this procedure from the experts as to the best way to go with it.

JL, I knew you were kidding me.  ;) :)  Yep, I know it stinks when they spray and I was assured in waiting until Buster is 5 months, he won't be old enough to spray yet. So far so good on that .

Oh Kat, I'm feeling sick, but thanks for the research.  I know some that have good results having their cats declawed and besides I must keep the peace with hubby.  I'll have to go ahead, but maybe just his hands and not his feet.
Thanks all for your concern .

indianabob:
hey girls and boys that love cats.

My little sis has had cats that moved into the house since we were kids together.  She just cannot resist any lonely animal.  Her house smells like a zoo and I have to hold my breath for the first half hour when I visit.

One story I heard was that a cat owner is not really a cat lover when all they feed their kitty is canned fish that is not fit for human consumption, no matter what is says on the label.  A true cat lover will procure a few mice every month and turn them loose in the house for the cat to play with and eat for the vitamins and minerals that they need to stay healthy.

                Hey Bob,
This reminds me of a visit to my little sis's home years ago.    She and your sis would have gotten along very well.  There was even little tokens left here and there by her animals.
I love animals too, but not so much that I'd keep one that didn't know where the litter box was.
As for the little story, guess I'm not a true cat lover, because my kitty eats Purina Kitten Chow,no mice.  I tried a tuna can, but Buster didn't know what to do with it.
            Thank you dear Bob!
