Hello Terry,

One thing for sure is these prayers are carnal, not Spiritual, nor Scriptural...

"the desires of your heart will be granted"

I can't speak for everyone, but the LAST thing that I want is for the above statement to be fulfilled. My heart is 'exceedingly weak', I do not wish for its desires to be granted; rather I wish for God's 'consuming fire' to burn these evil desires out of it.

Yep, those kind of letters are my pet peeves, especially when they contain a threat like: "If you don't share this letter with 10 of your friends in the next 4 minutes, you will lose your blessing." Or the other one: "For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels.” Mark 8:38 (New King James Version).
It's like having a gun pointed to your head...
