These words are from an old song "Smile"  this has always been my way of dealing with hurts and disappointments, just smile..smiling isn't easy and right now I'm having trouble finding my smile..I would appreciate my friends saying a little prayer for me..You guys have never let me down when it comes to prayer..not a dire situation I just need a prayer!

Hi Kathy,
 
I believe it was Gracy Fields who sang "Smile" and she used to sing it with such conviction I'm sure she helped a lot of people get through difficult times.

We have a great Friend who helps us with our difficulties and my prayer is that you will feel His presence powerfully as He takes your hand in His and leads you on.

Terry, your song made me cry, I like that one, too! I'm glad to have my Father who loves me so with His awesome love!! Soon I will find my smile and I will be glad of it!! Remember awhile back we had a little discussion about rainbows and musicman said that rainbows are light shining through raindrops, and the light represents God, that gave me the idea that when we cry and the light shines on our tears that is God giving us rainbows...I always think of that and I am thankful for the science of the rainbow! (I've been seeing a lot of rainbows..) I think very soon now my tears will give way to my smile and God will have shown me something very important about myself! This is why we go through trials so that God can clean the grime of the world out of our hearts with those stupid tears!! I hate to cry, I'd rather laugh and smile..that's who I really am..not a big cry baby...well maybe I am a crybaby!! But my Father holds me in His arms of love!! Hey, THAT is smile worthy!! :) a little smile and soon they will grow!!
