I wish every French driver could see this video. Using mobiles whist driving is the norm here.

I heard on the news today that the European Parliament would like to get the death toll down to 27,000 by next year. That would be a half of what it was in 2001. I wonder how many of these deaths are caused by using phones whilst driving.

I think in America about 40,000 or so die yearly in car crashes. Seems like we should be really interested in doing something about this. More than many of our wars.... Let 100 die from cough syrup and they pull everything off the shelves.

but talking on the phone and now texting IS getting to be a problem...

On another topic....My son just spent 10 months in Yaroslavel, Russia. He said the cell phones in the US are so behind the times! ha
