yah, i had heard this attributed to george carlin too. the one thing that stood out for me, that assuredly showed that carlin did not pen this paper is the statement that "and pray too seldom". that statement just didn't jibe with carlin who stated in the past that he was an atheist. but, as dave said, it doesn't make it any less true or false, more or less valuable. thanks for the post roy.
