This is my first post. My membership was approved today, September 15, 2009.

I’m new and old at the same time. I’m new to Bible-Truths and I am an old man. I have been on a quest for faith all my life, but I could never reconcile eternal punishing with a loving God. Now, I find out that is not the case, and I’m so grateful.

I’m so happy I found out the truth.

Welcome to the forum and you'll find a lot of kindred spirits here.  There is enough meat of the truth in the various teachings that everytime you read them you learn something new.  We are most certainly blessed.

I'm glad you have joined us  :)
I did not learn the truth until my later years either.  But I have no regrets as to all that I experienced in the churches I attended, I see it as a necessary means to an end.  Just take your time and drink it all in, there is quite a lot you must unlearn, so that you can then have a solid foundation to build on.

welcome gary,
it is a thrilling thing to meet new members of God's family. you may be an "old" man, but then again, we are all old men in our hearts, but then through the Love that God is, He strengthens us through His Holy Spirit to put away the old man and then operate from our new man heart. there is indeed so much on this website and in the forum, that it will take the rest of your/our lives to digest it all. not a sweeter meal can be had then eating of the wisdom of His Word. even reading through the reams of old emails to ray, new truths are brought forth. enjoy. we have been waiting for you.

             Welcome to the Forum and looking forward to reading your comments. Insofar as being Old, it's okay, it's part of the Human condition, as long as your young at heart. It's encouraging when older ones are led to this Site and it's Truth, my Dad's 86, wish he would check it out. If it's God's plan for him, he will eventually do so.
