God's Voice?

Jesus the Son is the God of the Old Testament.  He is Jehovah.  He said, recorded in the Gospel of John:

Joh 5:36  But I have greater witness than that of John: for the works which the Father hath given me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of me, that the Father hath sent me.
Joh 5:37  And the Father himself, which hath sent me, hath borne witness of me. Ye have neither heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.
Joh 5:38  And ye have not his word abiding in you: for whom he hath sent, him ye believe not.
Joh 5:39  Search the scriptures; for in them ye think ye have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.

Be careful not to say that nobody has heard the voice of God.  The ones listening that very day heard the voice of God.  And it said, "Ye have neither heard HIS voice at any time, nor seen HIS shape..."  And we haven't.

I have to color my hair as well; the itching usually lasts for 3 to 4 days and is just a little bit of an allergy to the chemicals. As long as you don't break out in a rash, I would not worry about it too much. You can thoroughly shampoo your hair right after the coloring procedure; it reduces the itch.
At least now you know what some of us women have to go through  :P.

This whole issue, for me, has been one I have struggled with. I have stopped trying to hear "that voice" in my head because a couple of years ago I kept a prayer journal where I would try and have a conversation with God. Eventually, though, it got to a point where it became very sinister to me, almost like I was hearing in my head the voice of my own carnal mind(which now I am sure that it was). So I stopped with that and pretty much ever since have looked to other ways of hearing from God, like basically answered prayers or seeing an answer for something in the scriptures. 

Of one thing I am certain,though, is that God does communicate with us in one way or another.  :)
