The man's lost it!!

Obviously, Hell No is speaking from the heart but that doesn't mean that he is speaking in spirit.  Many people sit behind their computers shouting their oppinions at the world but will not put themselves out there in person.  Sometimes people are just frustrated with the world and the computer is the best way to relieve the tension.  And what kind of person should be out their teaching the truths?  Should everyone that learns some truths about God just go out and teach even if their personal lives are not that Christ like?  What kind of example would that be?  Now, I have followed Hell No's work for several months and I see someone that has little patience for the evil hell teaching.  That's understandable, but what kind of a person is he?  We don't know.  Personally, I get a kick out of his sarcasm and antics.  That sort of inspires me.  We all like Ray's style.  But at least he holds conferences and doesn't seem to be hiding anything.  What's this Hell No hiding?  I wonder.

Food for thought, Musicman...food for thought!  :)

--- Quote from: mharrell08 on November 25, 2009, 04:00:38 PM ---Matt 22:37-40  Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

John 13:34  A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another

Roy,

Here is what 'Jesus thought' and commanded. If going out to take on Babylon is what is led on your heart to do, go ahead...no one's stopping you. You can find people in every city, in every country, and throughout the internet who will go tit for tat with you.

Again, living a Godly example in ALL aspects of your life speaks much louder than clever arguments...but again, no one's stopping you, go right on ahead.

P.S.

Eph 6:12  For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand

I don't know how many DON'T believe this scripture...or is it simply ignored? People want to wrestle & debate their fellow man instead PREPARING themselves with the armour of God against that which is SPIRITUAL! But of course, I guess this is not what 'Jesus thought' seeing how he hand-picked Paul who made this profound statement.

Ditto Marques,

Anyone who wants, can start trying to show what light they have. Problems come up when we forget: that GOD Has Never Been in anything less, Than Total Control. People are how they are because Jesus Christ wants them exactly that way, until He is ready to shine the Light on them that will both remove the scales and have them ready to receive GOD'S Truths. At such times is when those that GOD Has training, will be told what to do, when, where and exactly how.

Probably one reason these verses below were written is for that very lesson, wait on The Lord, Go When He Gives The Marching Orders.

Acts 9:10-21 (GNB)
10  There was a believer in Damascus named Ananias. He had a vision, in which the Lord said to him, "Ananias!" "Here I am, Lord," he answered.

11  The Lord said to him, "Get ready and go to Straight Street, and at the house of Judas ask for a man from Tarsus named Saul. He is praying,
12  and in a vision he has seen a man named Ananias come in and place his hands on him so that he might see again."

13  Ananias answered, "Lord, many people have told me about this man and about all the terrible things he has done to your people in Jerusalem.

14  And he has come to Damascus with authority from the chief priests to arrest all who worship you."
15  The Lord said to him, "Go, because I have chosen him to serve me, to make my name known to Gentiles and kings and to the people of Israel.

16  And I myself will show him all that he must suffer for my sake."

17  So Ananias went, entered the house where Saul was, and placed his hands on him. "Brother Saul," he said, "the Lord has sent me---Jesus himself, who appeared to you on the road as you were coming here. He sent me so that you might see again and be filled with the Holy Spirit."

18  At once something like fish scales fell from Saul's eyes, and he was able to see again. He stood up and was baptized;
19  and after he had eaten, his strength came back. Saul stayed for a few days with the believers in Damascus.

20  He went straight to the synagogues and began to preach that Jesus was the Son of God.

21  All who heard him were amazed and asked, "Isn't he the one who in Jerusalem was killing those who worship that man Jesus? And didn't he come here for the very purpose of arresting those people and taking them back to the chief priests?"

Roy Martin:
I never did say I want to take on Babylon, or even get near it. I'm talking about something totally different. Hell No does what he does. Hes just a man like any other man  sharing his truth with who ever will listen on the internet. At least he isn't afraid to meet the world with what he has. I doubt that his efforts go in vain. I'm sure that many read his stuff and believe it and come to read some of Rays material. I did see he suggested reading Rays paper. No one is perfect. I commend him for at least trying and doing his best. I would do what he does in a heart beat, but I alone am not prepared to do it on my own. I ask again, What good is a body of people if we don't stand together as a body, and keep it amongst ourselves waiting for someone to come our way? I'm getting a bit confused about some things.

Roy, that is exactly what you are saying, whether you fully understand or not. Babylon is a Mother, with many spiritual daughters over many nations...it is not just a church building...her influence is throughout the world. There's no difference whether in a church building, coffee shop, protest rally, internet forum, etc...as Christ said:

Matt 26:52-54  Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword. Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

The scriptures, God's Word & Will, MUST BE FULFILLED...ALL OF IT. Where in any of Paul, Peter, John's epistles do they admonish us to take on those in flesh and blood. That's not where the true battle is...the true battle is in the spirit.

2 Cor 10:3-6  For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

As Paul says, when your obedience is FULFILLED...growing in obedience and knowledge and wisdom and most important LOVE will cause:

1. More persecution than you can shake a stick at ['ye shall be hated of all men for my name's sake'...Matt 10:22]

2. Edifying our brethren in the faith ['when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren'...Luke 22:32]

3. PERFECTION and cementing your calling ['Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect'...Matt 5:48] & ['give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things (faith, knowledge, patience, love, etc.), ye shall never fall'...2 Pet 1:10]

We don't have to worry about telling someone 'how' to live and believe in God if we would just 'LIVE' it ourselves...that's the greatest example and admonishment one can give, it speaks tremendous volumes.

I can't stress that enough and I'm sure other members will testify the same. He [Jesus] must INCREASE but I must DECREASE (John 3:30).

Read through Ray's notes and review the audio/video from the conference...the sections regarding worship and life of the believer. FYI: http://forums.bible-truths.com/index.php/topic,10844.0.html & http://forums.bible-truths.com/index.php/topic,8227.0.html
