Please pray for my son, Ben
« on: December 01, 2009, 01:08:56 PM »

My son Ben slipped and fell at his work last night. A large pot of boiling water landed on him as he went down, and he fell to the floor hard, hitting his knee on the way down.

He woke up this morning to a swelled up leg that will not move, and he is in a LOT of pain. He will be going to the emergency room or the hospital anytime now.

If any of you would like to pray for him, I'd appreciate it.  :)

Hello Rockdude,

Sorry to hear about your Son, Ben. A Pot of boiling water, that's definitely scary and dangerous, burns are nothing to fool around with. I pray he gets better soon and doesn't suffer too much.

Father God, ben is in need of your merciful healing.  please cover him with Your lovingkindness and grace as he goes in to have his injuries checked out, and cause him to be able to be attended to quickly.  i offer this petition because our brother jonathan/rockrdude has requested it, and it is our honor to lift up his son ben.  in the sweet name of Jesus Christ, amen.

let us know how it goes.

I just got the news..

No damage to his knee from the fall, and no damage due to the boiling water.
He did, however, break one of his legs.

So it could have been better, but it could also have been so much worse.

Thanks for praying! God is GOOD!

They will apparently give him some 'sit down' work at his job for a little while so he won't have to miss much work. He'll lose his overtime hours until he heals up though.
