war about Canaan

in the Old Testament describing how Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan (the Promised Land) after the death of Moses.but in the Old Testament that Israelites launched several wars into Canaan.my question is what's the differenc between the war  Joshua led the Israelites into Canaan (the Promised Land)  and Modern warfare ??? ::)

I don't know the complete answer , but Joshua was led by God in this war. Modern day war is led by men with evil intentions, but none the less God is in control regardless.

Do you think God want to show us one thing what's the kingdom of god(the Promised Land) (We often think that the kingdom of god in the heart)?
