Names and titles of Jesus
Beloved:
Not a good translation Bob this is closer to the ISA
(1Jn 5:20) Yet we are aware that the Son of God is arriving, and has given us a comprehension, that we know the True One, and we are in the True One, in His Son, Jesus Christ. This One is the true God and life eonian."
This agrees wht he says in his gospel
(Joh 14:20) In that day you shall know that I am in My Father, and you in Me, and I in you."

Hi Bob,
Well we have people that believe all kinds of configurations about 'God.'
In Trinitarian doctrine, God the Father is one person, the Holy Spirit is another person and Jesus is yet another separate person, three in one, a TRI-UNITY of God.
Some believe there is only one being who manifests Himself in three different modes.
The United Pentecostals will argue that the Father and Son are the same person. The Oneness Pentecostals (a.k.a. "Jesus Only" or "Apostolic Pentecostals") believe the "Son" did not exist in any form prior to the incarnation of Jesus of Nazareth, other than in the foreknowledge of God. In Jesus, God took on human flesh at a precise moment in time, while remaining fully and eternally God:
So yes I guess there are people that believe Jesus is the Father.

There is a distinction between a Title and a Name.
God is not the Name of either God the Father or God the Son. God is a TITLE not a NAME.
Kat's list does say it is both Titles AND Names. :D

is Jesus Adam?? ???
Kat:
Hi Soberxp,
1Co 15:45 Thus it is written, "The first man Adam became a living being"; the last Adam became a life-giving spirit.
1Co 15:46 But it is not the spiritual which is first but the physical (first man Adam), and then the spiritual (last Adam - Jesus Christ).
