Thanks for the warm welcome.
It has been a somewhat lonely road since God opened my heart to the truth,due to fact that virtually everyone im close to, subscribes to the doctrines of the church and is inlove with it.
I have lost close family members since 2004; my dad 2004,my grandmother 2005,my granddad 2006,my sister(37 lung cancer) 2007,a near fatal car accident 2008 and the death of my other sister(35) 4 months ago who fell ill 2months after the birth of a baby boy..
If it wasnt for the Truth of God that i learnt here, i think would have 'cursed God and died'.
My favourite chapter in the bible is Romans 8, especially verse 18:' For i reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared to the glory which shall be revealed in us'
im saddened by Rays state of health but encouraged at the same time by his perseverance and faith in God.

Welcome to the forum Vinicle! I am humbled by the trials you have been going through. I too, am going through various trials. Just, like you I am blessed to know the truth or I may have given up on God. God never ceases to amaze me how he brings people to the forum. Being here is just like finding you are finally home.
Looking forward to hearing more from you. My heart goes out to you and your faith touches my heart so.

Well Paul calls his afflictions 'light' ! and the glory 'burdensome' so there,s a real lesson for us all.
Im definately encouraged reading everyones post and alot of my questions have answered since ive also been a lurker for 3 years now.
