Marky Mark:

Hello Gallenwalsh.

The reason that people answer with Scripture is that to answer any other way would not be of the Word. The only foundation for the Truth is Scripture, anything else would be speculation. There are a lot of good folk here, ready to give Spiritual advice, all in a way of humbling ones self for the sake of Jesus. I'm sure with prayer and diligent study your questions will be answered when the Lord is ready.

Peace...Mark

Hello Gallenwalsh

The best way to answer a question is with "I don't know", if you don"t know.

Well very simply, I know of no scriptures that explain how satan aquired his following. Only that he did. My opinion is the same way he gets following on this Earth, by deception using false preaching which the world and internet is full of.

Job 1:6  Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.
Job 1:7  And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.
Job 1:8  And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?
Job 1:9  Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?
Job 1:10  Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.
Job 1:11  But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.
Job 1:12  And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

It would seem the Lord gave a clear commandment to Satan.
The previous post would prove the same.

Hope this helps

Hi Lupac,

Look at this translation of the same verses from Antaiwan, particularly where the word fear is used. You will see that Reverence or Revereth is a more correct translation, and it puts a whole different context on our relationship with our FATHER GOD And our Lord Jesus Christ.

Job 1:6-12 (Rotherham)
6 Now there came a certain day, when the sons of God entered in to present themselves unto Yahweh,—so the accuser also entered, in their midst.
7 And Yahweh said unto the accuser, Whence comest thou? And the accuser answered Yahweh, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and wandering about therein.

8 And Yahweh said unto the accuser, Hast thou applied thy heart unto my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a man blameless and upright, one revering God and avoiding evil?
9 And the accuser answered Yahweh, and said, Is it, for nought, that Job revereth God?

10 Hast not, thou thyself, made a hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath, on every side? The work of his hands, thou hast blessed, and, his substance, hath broken forth in the land.

11 But, in very deed, put forth, I pray thee, thy hand, and smite all that he hath,—verily, unto thy face, will he curse thee.

12 And Yahweh said unto the accuser, Lo! all that he hath, is in thy hand, only, against himself, do not put forth thy hand. So the accuser went forth from the presence of Yahweh.

2Ti 1:7 (MKJV)
For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

From G1169; timidity: - fear.G1167 δειλία deilia di-lee'-ah

2Ti 1:7 (GNB)
For the Spirit that God has given us does not make us timid; instead, his Spirit fills us with power, love, and self-control.

Isa 59:19 (MKJV)
So they shall fear the name of Jehovah from the west, and His glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of Jehovah shall make him flee.

H3372
ירא
yârê'
yaw-ray'
A primitive root; to fear; morally to revere; causatively to frighten: - affright, be (make) afraid, dread (-ful), (put in) fear (-ful, -fully, -ing). (be had in) reverence (-end), X see, terrible (act, -ness, thing).

Isa 59:19 (Rotherham)
That they may revere—From the West the name of Yahweh, And from the Rising of the Sun his glory, For he will come in like a rushing stream, the breath of Yahweh, driving it on;

I am making this point, to show you that you really have no need to fear GOD, rather, to Reverence and Honor HIM.

NO MORE FEAR brother.

Hi gallenwalsh, Ray seems to mention it here, this was the closest I could find. I gather from what Ray says, and from the Scripture he provides, that it seems they were all created at the same time.

Excerpt from 'The Lake of Fire Series'-The Myth of "Free Will" Exposed - Part C @ http://bible-truths.com/lake15-C.html

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth”  (Gen. 1;1).

We all know what the earth is. The heavens, however, is a different matter. The physical heaven is where we find the moon, sun, and stars. But God’s domain is a spiritual heaven.

“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world [Gk: ‘age’], against spiritual [Gk: ‘spiritual powers of, or spiritual hosts of, or spiritual forces of’] wickedness in high places [Gk: ‘heavenly places’]” (Eph. 6:12).

So God created the plural “heavens” “in the beginning.” And Paul tells us that there are “principalities and powers” in these “heavenly places” or “celestials” as it is in the Greek. And that these “principalities and powers” are powers, hosts, or forces that are “wicked!”

“For by Him [Jesus] were all things created that are in the heaven [Gk: ‘heavens”—it is plural in the Greek as it is in the Hebrew], and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers ALL things were created by Him, and for Him” (Col. 1:16).

“Principalities and powers” are part of the “all” which Jesus created “in the beginning,” at the beginning of creation. And these “principalities and powers” are “wicked” forces, which we wrestle against. These powers are under authority.

Gallenwalsh,
Don't be discouraged or upset if someones reply sounds a little sarcastic. I have learned that its better to expect this sort of thing than to expect perfection in humans. Everyone has bad days. We are all imperfect with good intentions.
Your after truth and nothing will stop you. I don't think there is a limit as to how many questions one can ask. I understand the thing about trust. Once bit twice shy. Nothing wrong with that.
