Not tempted by God

i just think it must be a bad choice of words/translation, BECAUSE, to say that God "tempted" abraham gives one the idea that God was TRYING to get abraham to sin.....or sounds that way to me anyway....which is clearly stated that God does not do..... to say that God was "testing" abrahams faith gives a whole different "righteous" motive to the situation to me....
