Bible Translations
« on: February 06, 2010, 12:38:23 PM »

Does Ray recommend that we have or buy the Concordant, Rotherham, Youngs, and Emphatic Diaglott
translations of the bible? My local bible bookstore sure dosn't have these. Where can I buy them?

Concordant version: http://www.concordant.org/

Rothlerham: http://www.amazon.com/Rotherhams-Emphasized-Joseph-Bryant-Rotherham/dp/082543601X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265471610&sr=8-1-spell

Youngs: http://www.amazon.com/Youngs-Literal-Translation-Bible-Robert/dp/0965307859/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1265471713&sr=1-1

Search results from Amazon for the Emphatic Diaglott: http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_sb_ss_i_1_6?url=search-alias%3Dstripbooks&field-keywords=emphatic+diaglott&x=0&y=0&sprefix=Emphat

I just gave search results for the Emphatic Diaglott since there were so many. Hope this helps,

Marques

Get e-sword which is free and then download the various modules for it.  Won't cost you a penny.  There are a few threads on the forum here you can search for or do a google search on it.

FYI: http://forums.bible-truths.com/index.php/topic,4470.msg34376.html#msg34376

Most of the translations I use (Rothlerham, Emphatic Diaglott, etc.) are 'executable files' which install themselves into the necessary folders for E-Sword to use. With the CLV, you have to actually move the translation file into the E-Sword folder, located under 'C:\Program Files'.
