Looking At Our Self and Others through the eyes of God!

Roy Martin:
Very poetically said Marlene.

Roy

Fester:

These verses have always humbled me to God.

Isa. 45:5-12

I am the Lord, and there is no other; apart from me there is no God. I will strengthen you, though you have not acknowledged me, so that from the rising of the sun to the place of its setting men may know there is none besides me.  I am the Lord, and there is no other.  I form the light and create darkness, I bring prosperity and create disaster [EVIL]; I, the Lord, do all these things.  You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the Lord, have created it.  Woe to him who quarrels with his Maker, to him who is but a potsherd among the potsherds on the ground. Does the clay say to the potter, 'What are you making?' Does your work say, 'He has no hands'?  Woe to him who says to his father, 'What have you begotten?' or to his mother, 'What have you brought to birth?'  This is what the Lord says-- the Holy One of Israel, and its Maker: Concerning things to come, do you question me about my children, or give me orders about the work of my hands?  It is I who made the earth and created mankind upon it. My own hands stretched out the heavens; I marshaled their starry hosts.

WOW powerful stuff !

Sure put me in my place!

Marlene:
Kat, yes it does encourage us to press on when God gives us more of his light.

Arc, you have often helped me whith your post and helped the light shine bright.

Fester, it sure is an eye opener. among so many other eye openers. God never ceases to amaze me. What, a delight he is.

Thanks to Roy and Marques coments.

I just love when I am reading the Bible and God shows me a verse that I have often either not given much attention to. You really do need to take time when you read the Bible and ask God to give you his Spirit to understand. I often find him drawing me back to things that I never understood just like a light turning on!  I have always believe God showed me things that were like a soft whisper and to get my attention a big boom. I am learning they both are good.

In His Love,
Marlene
