Roy, I know I can only trust, lean and expect on Jesus.
He won't let me down and never has.
It is so hard to have this expectation and live your life with people who don't do anything but let you down including yourself.
not much else to say.

 Akira, Amen to that.
We let ourselves down, we are the enemy, we carry the plank in the eye, but someday we will all have this plank removed.

Our Spiritual expectation is what we must develop for and of the Lord. To live in Christ and Christ in us is the expectation. We do not live by bread alone. My worldly desires are of no consequence in my Spiritual development.

Rom 15:13 Now may the God of expectation be filling you with all joy and peace in believing, for you to be super-abounding in expectation, in the power of holy spirit."

Gal 5:5 For we, in spirit, are awaiting the expectation of righteousness by faith."

Eph 1:18 the eyes of your heart having been enlightened, for you to perceive what is the expectation of His calling, and what the riches of the glory of the enjoyment of His allotment among the saints,

1Th 2:19 For who is our expectation, or joy, or wreath of glorying? Or is it not even you, in front of our Lord Jesus, in His presence?

1Jn 3:3 And everyone who has this expectation in Him is purifying himself, according as He is pure."
