Names we choose
noeleena:
Hi .
Well really i did not choose my names & of cause some of you may be a bit surprised, any way here goes .
noel, edward , Loch-head , & with two more prussian names ,
manfried von reutchthos, & as youll see prussian background with scottish & english ,
now because of my back ground .
im known as noeleena ,edwina. Loch-head .
The detail behind my first name is both male & female no-el ,
my name of noeleena was going to be noeleen , & a friend over in phuket said to me it was to be noeleena . & as that was to be so. i accepted my new name .
You see , to many things have been done for me over these last 12 years & more so the last 3 , nothing ,has been done for no reason even if some people think other wise ,
any way some thing a little different ,
...noeleena...
CottonPicker:
I have always had a great fascination with printed fabrics. I sew things and mostly pick (choose) cotton for my projects so Cotton Picker seemed like the right name for me. :)
Dave in Tenn:
There's no shame in admitting you've picked cotton. :D
I picked a little cotton when I was a kid. We were driving up to visit my grandparents in West Tennessee, and I asked if we could stop and let me go into a cotton field to pick a boll for show-and-tell. I picked it, and kept it, but immediately felt guilty for 'stealing' that farmer's cotton.
My mom has a lot of cotton picking stories. I feel like I've come from a long line of cotton-picking ancestors.
Ninny:
Ok Dave, this one's for you, old timer!! hehehe!! :D

they used to grow cotton in Arizona when I was a kid...never picked any, but I used to go with my sisters to "tromp the trailers" after the cotton picker (mechanical, of course) put it over into the trailers they hired people to stomp it down to make room for more! scratchy!! :o
Kathy ;)
