Just my thoughts:

It is better to know God than to question Him. He can answer any question but His answers can still go right over your head, or be heard and not understood, or seen and not percieved. Like the disciples who asked Jesus to explain the parable of the seed being sown first onto the way side then on the hard ground etc and He answered with another parable!

so for me it is pointless to ask questions. To desire to know God...that is the way to go...then you will understand, percieve, comprehend and all those desireable qualities of His Spirit will bring Peace. His Son, after all is called the Prince of Peace!

Understanding is from His Spirit not from our questions ;D

The fewer the questions, the greater the peace. We all begin with many questions and they do get answered along the way through Gods Grace and Mercy! BT has done this for me in a big way! ;D

Peace be to you

I would say, have you always been God?  Did you win some God election to become God?  Did you ever go to college to learn how to become God?  Did you live in a family line of God's and it was just your turn to be God?  In other words, who died and made you God?

That is funny, huh God?

Hands down, the #1 question for Jesus is …. < drum roll please >

How did the Father process You before Your physical life to become His perfect Son since it is not recorded in Scripture and as Ray says, “We don’t know what Jesus went through, how did He become Number One, how did He become the Son of God?  How did He become glorified, what did He go through?”

Better yet, I would ask that question instead.

My question for the moment is:

After all the things I've learned from pastors, theologians, professors and scholars over the years, why did it take a roofer to get me excited about God and come to terms with my faith? ???

That seems to be God's way!

I guess I would ask HIM why HE went the long way around in getting humans to worship HIM; why did HE not make us humans with the total indwelling and the total understanding and total ability to worship HIM fullyin the beginning (when we were born) instead of making us work and struggle to finally love HIM with all of our hearts.???  :-\

Also, how did the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION actually happen, how did HE physically impregnate Mary since HE is spiritual and not physical??? :o

My little boy just said that he would ask who made GOD??? ;D

Well, I just have to add my question because I have ALWAYS said that the only question I have for God is, "Why cockroaches?"  I mean, I accept that His Plan of Salvation is what it is and that it has taken a long time (in our eyes) and may continue to take a long time and that it involves a lot of suffering and struggling and lost innocence, etc., etc.  I really do accept all of that and I don't spend time any more questioning it.  But cockroaches???  Every time I see one of those horrid creatures I am at a loss to comprehend what He was thinking when He CHOSE to create them.  (Here in Texas we have flying tree roaches that bring utter terror to my mind.)  The only inkling of a POSSIBLE reason is the depth of joy I will experience the day I realize I will NEVER have to EVER see one of them EVER again.  Of course, that is an assumption but nevertheless it is one into which I put a lof of HOPE.

Good day, all!

In His Service,

Cathy

This scripture has occurred to me.

1 Cor 13 : 9. For our knowledge is fragmentary, incomplete and imperfect, and our prophecy our teaching is fragmentary incomplete and imperfect. 10. But when the complete and perfect comes, the incomplete and imperfect will VANISH away. (Caps and italics are used to show emphasis.)

So then when Christ comes again who is not fragmentary incomplete or imperfect...then our questions will vanish!

Peace to you

If I was the last peson and in the very back row and had a view of everything.

I honestly do not think I could ask anything....of God

(Job 42:1 REV)  Then Job responded to Yahweh, and said:-

(Job 42:4 REV)  Hear thou, I pray thee, and, I, will speak, I will ask thee, and inform thou me.

(Job 42:5 REV)  By the hearing of the ear, had I heard thee, but, now, mine own eye, hath seen thee.

(Job 42:6 REV)  For this cause, I tremble and repent, on dust and ash
es.

Beloved

All my questions would be so carnal I could not imagine their purpose in His Presence

[As an aside]  Thanks Arcturus, I needed to hear this tonight:

Quote
So then when Christ comes again who is not fragmentary incomplete or imperfect...then our questions will vanish!

I get and got into a series of questionings in another thread last night... and this happens from time to time... I sometimes miss the UNITY of our God and His ULTIMATE knowledge and plan... and I ramble and get a little cloudy...

Thanks for your words that bring me home.

You guys are such wimps  ;D

Every creature serves the purpose of God even the poor lowly cockroach

If death was brought into this world then He needed lots of different things to eat up the dead carcasses.

(I tried to do a word seach and couldn't find any in esword... :D )

Randy

You are right God has a lot to teach us all and our little brains "cannot bear it all"

I was making sport with some members...

God is always teaching us this lesson...>
We are to love our enemy....even though there may be a lot of spiritual cockroaches out there.
(this comment is in reference to all our enemies in general and please note..... as someone has kindly pointed out to me ....not to anyone posting here     ;D ;D ;D )

Hey guys remember there a lot more scarier things out there than physical cockroaches......>  prions, ebola virus etc.  They too serve His purpose.

If I could ask just one question it might be.

Since you are eternal and have no beginning, when did you decide to make humans your method of having many sons with whom to share your creation?  What were you doing before the creation of the material universe and the development of the plan to create our beautiful Garden of Eden.  Even if God lives outside of time, it would seem apparent that things do happen in sequence, one after the other as needed to fulfill the plan.  So, was there an eternity before the material creation?  Just curious.

Also, the question about physical pleasures such as sex.

Actually, did God have to have two sexes in order to populate the world with billions initially?

I suppose God could have just made 100 Billion people and let them all populate the earth for one thousand years and live out their lives relating to one another WITHOUT sharing in the creation of new life.  But He didn't and that is a good example of God's character.  He desires to share ALL that He has with ALL His children so He made sons and daughters.  Think about it, God made humans sexual so that they could share in the creation of billions of new lives.

I'm Not second guessing God, but the point is sexual expression has a definite and TEMPORARY purpose.

Sexual expression is fun and desirable because God made it that way for a purpose.  So that we would populate the earth and subdue it and practice responsible stewardship.  How many fellows would volunteer to impregnate a woman and care for the offspring for 20 years, IF the pleasure was not exquisite and overwhelming.  Ladies, can you imagine a male taking that responsibility if he was in his right mind?  (smile) Possible but rare.

Sexual expression isn't necessary for God's children to express love and have true joy after the resurrection to true life. There will be much opportunity to practice 'agape' love in the age to come and it will be a spiritual expression rather than physical.

And yet, we will have our memories of life's physical pleasures, if that is good and if it is God's will.

I would say, hey God, this is more of a request than a question.  This world is over-run with churchian leaders who teach some really strange and even down right disgusting doctrines.  As you know, most of them preach this doctrine of rapture, where all of the "righteous" will be immediately taken to heaven so they can gauk at the rest of us no church losers who will be suffering Your wrath.  I was thinking of a great idea.  Every time one of these lost non scriptualists teaches one of their damnable doctrines, perhaps you could rapture them right out of our lives.  I even have an idea for how You could help us understand their dissapearance.  Every one of them could have a note in their pants pockets which are "left behind".  That note could say something like, "gone to prison to await judgement".  This also goes for Kurt Cammeraman and Ray Uncomfort.  As soon as they explain the 10 commandments to some crying sap who admits to stealing a pencil once, and that the bible teaches that they deserve an eternity of searing hot fire, . . . poof, away with them.  Please God, I can't take it any more.  These false prophets are irritating.  And those who believe them will have to explain the notes left in their "left behind" pants pockets.
