If you could ask God just 1 question
hebrewroots98:
I guess I would ask HIM why HE went the long way around in getting humans to worship HIM; why did HE not make us humans with the total indwelling and the total understanding and total ability to worship HIM fullyin the beginning (when we were born) instead of making us work and struggle to finally love HIM with all of our hearts.??? :-\
Also, how did the IMMACULATE CONCEPTION actually happen, how did HE physically impregnate Mary since HE is spiritual and not physical??? :o
My little boy just said that he would ask who made GOD??? ;D
YellowRose:
Well, I just have to add my question because I have ALWAYS said that the only question I have for God is, "Why cockroaches?" I mean, I accept that His Plan of Salvation is what it is and that it has taken a long time (in our eyes) and may continue to take a long time and that it involves a lot of suffering and struggling and lost innocence, etc., etc. I really do accept all of that and I don't spend time any more questioning it. But cockroaches??? Every time I see one of those horrid creatures I am at a loss to comprehend what He was thinking when He CHOSE to create them. (Here in Texas we have flying tree roaches that bring utter terror to my mind.) The only inkling of a POSSIBLE reason is the depth of joy I will experience the day I realize I will NEVER have to EVER see one of them EVER again. Of course, that is an assumption but nevertheless it is one into which I put a lof of HOPE.
Good day, all!
In His Service,
Cathy
Deborah-Leigh:
This scripture has occurred to me.
1 Cor 13 : 9. For our knowledge is fragmentary, incomplete and imperfect, and our prophecy our teaching is fragmentary incomplete and imperfect. 10. But when the complete and perfect comes, the incomplete and imperfect will VANISH away. (Caps and italics are used to show emphasis.)
So then when Christ comes again who is not fragmentary incomplete or imperfect...then our questions will vanish!
Peace to you
Arcturus :)
Beloved:
If I was the last peson and in the very back row and had a view of everything.
I honestly do not think I could ask anything....of God
(Job 42:1 REV) Then Job responded to Yahweh, and said:-
(Job 42:4 REV) Hear thou, I pray thee, and, I, will speak, I will ask thee, and inform thou me.
(Job 42:5 REV) By the hearing of the ear, had I heard thee, but, now, mine own eye, hath seen thee.
(Job 42:6 REV) For this cause, I tremble and repent, on dust and ashes.
Beloved
All my questions would be so carnal I could not imagine their purpose in His Presence

After all the things I've learned from pastors, theologians, professors and scholars over the years, why did it take a roofer to get me excited about God and come to terms with my faith? ???
That seems to be God's way!

:D Good One Joe!!
Beloved, that is so true.
Arc, I like that.
