Joel:
Hey guys!
I sense some tect. minds in the balcony ;)
Would some of you be so kind to explain in 50 words or less :D to the untrained, what GB memory and TB hard drive numbers mean.
And how that affects what you are intending to do with your computer, and again please put that in language, if possible, that those not so blessed in that area as you, would appreciate :-[  Maybe it will take more than 50 words ;D

Thanks
Joel

Wikipedia has all the answers:

I recently bought a terabyte hard-drive for $114.00 at Bestbuy.

Back in the 80's I bought my first 10 meg hard-drive for $800.00. I thought I would never fill it up. Now a single photo can be well over 10 meg.

And that 10 MB Photo would have been emailed to me when I had a dialup connection with the heading, "You have GOT to see this!"

The more memory [aka RAM - Random Access Memory] your computer has, the faster it will run, and the more programs you can run at the same time without lag...

-->The "standard" amount of RAM today would range from 2 to 4 GB

The more hard drive space you have, the more data you can store on it.

-->The "standard" hard drive size today would range from 250 to 500 GB

***1 TB is approx. 1,000 GB***
