Hi everybody, I my name is Mark. I've been a christian for a few years now. I'm 27 and I attend a non-denominational church. For many years I thought that the traditional teaching of "hell" was the undisputed truth even though my inner self was doubtful. As I got older that inner feeling has started to grow and now I've been on a full out search of the truth behind the scriptures instead of just taking man's word for it. God has led me to the truth and now I know that God wouldn't torture His creation for all eternity.

On top of this, I have been studying Calvinism, and have found much peace in knowing that God is in control of everything. He holds the keys to life and it is He who has our future in His hands. Praise God!

Eventually these things led me to come across Ray's videos and I have been excited to learn more about what you all are understanding about the scriptures! God's blessings to you all and to Ray's health.

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the forum.  I think you'll find that your experience is pretty common among our little group here.  I wish when I was 27 that I had begun to understand some of the truths that you know now but all is of God and all is in God's timing and not ours.  I think you will feel right at home here.

Keep on reading and studying the articles here and you will find a lot more truth behind the Scriptures. Another thing is the more you read here the more you will find that nothing taught here lines up with the church teaching, as they are totally blind to the truth. We are here to help and encourage those that find the church is no longer a place they can abide in.

Welcome to the forum Mark! Lots of great people here and tons of great learning. Lots of UNlearning to do that is for sure. The Lord called me at 27 as well but made we wait till 46 to see truth. We went from non-denominational to word of faith to OUT!  Hope you are blessed by being here as much as I.
