A day many call Easter. A day that many set aside to remember the Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Easter or ester was the pagan goddess of fertility, hence the rabbit and the eggs.
My kids color eggs while I teach them about the Resurrection of Jesus and the pagan tradition of easter. We also don't lie to them about the easter bunny, tooth fairy, santa clause, free will, tithing and the rest.
Today is the day that the Lord has made, rejoice and be glad in it. Celebrate His birth, death and resurrection EVERY DAY is my hope and longing

May those half off yellow chickens keep their marshmellowy freshness for several days as the prices continue to fall.
May the chocolate bunnies remain solid as a health concious nation avoids them for the likes of penny pinching sugar tooths splurge, forgetting their asperations to be thong models.
May the children of our nation spend more time with their families and stay out of the super markets until a covetess older generation can get off work and eliminate the remaining Easter stock.
May the desires of the candy coated heart be filled with dollar value goodness.
