my separation

[dre91]

My life has really changed since God has illuminated me in his word. the biggest change is that my wife and i are now separated. we've been separated now 4 a month. a coworker told me that im cursed because of my belief in universal salvation. i told him through many afflictions shall we be entering into the kingdom of heaven. i also told him those in Christ will suffer persecution. he told me 2 give up on my faith. i told i wouldn't and couldn't do that cause i wasn't the one who gave me my faith. i've encountered many unexpected things on this journey. i didn't want my marriage 2 end but i know its all apart of Gods plan and will. i've tried 2 reconcile with my wife and she won't talk 2 me or return my calls. please pray 4 me.

i am so sorry  you are going through such hard times. i know you will be blessed beyond measure if you endure. i too feel like a storm is coming for me as well....i have been feeling lead to step out alittle more and share my beliefs
with people & i am definately feeling the backlash....but i know that this "Gospel' must be preached to the world as a witness, then comes the end, and i want to do my part....i only pray i am strong enough to weather the storm when (not if) it hits...i feel it is very near....God give us all here the strength to endure the
storm that is a brewin'.....
will be praying for us all,
lauri

Floyd,
Your co-workers comment kind of reminded me of Job and his friends comments to him.
I will also be lifting you and your wife up in prayer. (specifically that both of you will be seeking God's will during this.)
I went through a nine month separation from my wife that God fully and completely restored. I really thought it was done when we separated.
Shows you what I know - and now we both are now like believers is the gospel.

Dre, will be keeping you in prayer. Whatever the cause of separation, look to God and try to discern what He wants in all of this. Perhaps it is not what you think, is it the Word of God that separates you or is it the other matter. Do not think like a victim of God but as a student.  Love, Judy

Hello Dre,
seperations are always traumatic and you must be going through a tough time. Perhaps your wife needs a little time to sort things out in her mind, may God give you the patience to see this through and keep the Faith. Will pray for you and your wife.
God's Blessings.

Tinknocker, I'm so glad things worked out between you and your wife. What a Blessing!

Hello Dre,

Sorry to hear about your plight, I've experienced the state of Marital Separation in previous Marriages and it's certainly not a picnic in the park. Of the top ten stresses according to the "Experts," Separation is at least in the Top Three, from a list that includes Death, Divorce, Marriage, Moving, Job change, Job loss, etc. I'm not certain that Separation was number one, but for some reason, I think it might be, mainly because there is no known finality and any certainty to what lies ahead. We could say that for many things in Life, because only God knows the beginning and end of a matter, but it hits hard especially in these personal domestic realities, it's very emotionally taxing.

Too bad that your "Friend" wants you to give up Universal Reconciliation, but doesn't see a problem with your Wife unscripturally separating from you. If you aren't Abusing her and your supporting her and your not committing any acts of infidelity(Porneia-Fornication), then I don't know what Bible justifies leaving a Husband. That would also include the Husband leaving the Wife, if the shoe was on the other foot. 1Cor. chapter 7 has something to say about this situation.

I Pray for you and hope you endure, sorry if I sound long winded, it's a very touchy subject for me due to past experiences in this area. I don't wish this experience(Marital Separation) on anyone, it's very Emotionally taxing for those involved. I don't usually comment too often at this section of the Forum, but your situation was of special interest to me and I felt it necessary to take the time to respond. If you need someone to speak with, feel free to send me a PM message and we will go from there.

Sorry about the bad news, Samson.
