I hope you stay here in BT, read more and more, and continue your being "low profie" (which I think you meant you don't go telling your whole neighbor of what you believe in). I do maintain also that "low profile". I don't go debating my friends anymore. I share the truths God gave me only if the timing is right and circumstance allow it. And while waiting for that timing, I ask God to continue change me so by the time God will cause me to share His truth, His light in me radiates more effectively. You can do that too! :)

Welcome to the Forum ! A good article for you to read is Ray's Foundational Truths of the Scriptures. You can read the Transcript or listen to the Audio. Kat is right, it would be wise to keep a Low Profile at this initial stage. Although the Word Hell and it's derivatives(Hell-fire, unquenchable fire) are something to learn the correct understanding about, I'd like to suggest focusing on the Myth of Free Will Series and Is Everlasting Scriptural, because these two Heresies(Free Will & the word Forever, Everlasting & Eternal) are in my opinion the two greatest errors of all and lead to the error of Eternal Hell, Lake of Fire in all of Christendom's various forms( Eternal Separation, Annihilation & Eternal Torment).
Anyway, take your time and meditate on these explanations of Ray's and show your Wife the truth by your living example(conduct), first and foremost.
