Deborah-Leigh:

--- Quote ---Maybe Ray was just trying to console a grieving widow with these kind words.
--- End quote ---

Eileen , I  believe Ray WAS trying to console your grief and share in your burden, with words of empathy and kindness.

Eileen, I believe your faith is not in vain, :)

1Co 15:13  But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:
1Co 15:14  And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.

Eph 3:20  Now to Him who, in exercise of His power that is at work within us, is able to do infinitely beyond all our highest prayers or thoughts--
Eph 3:21  to Him be the glory in the Church and in Christ Jesus to all generations, world without end! Amen.

Comfort, strength, hope, healing and peace to you

Deborah-Leigh:
Hold on to what you’ve got.  :) Why?...because...

1Co 15:19  If in THIS LIFE only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.

1Co 15:26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.
1Co 15:26  The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

Death shall be destroyed in ALL its shapes, names and forms. 8) That is the Truth, we can really trust in, for God's Will does infinitely BEYOND all our highest prayers or thoughts, as we share in one anothers burdens, sorrows and needs, as we so should.
