Saying Hello!
« on: July 20, 2010, 01:41:14 AM »

Hello Everyone!

My name is Annie and I just wanted to introduce myself to the Forum and also share a couple of thoughts.

I have learned so much from Ray's teachings and don't even have words to express my gratitude to him for shedding light on God's truths.
I now look at the Bible with spiritual eyes and it brings me so much joy to learn and grow in the Lord.

Since I've been studying, I've been waking up in the morning with all kinds of insights about the many things I have learned here.  This morning, I put it together that the book of Revelation is an "Application" of God's truth for those "few" who God chooses.  This giant parable wasn't meant to be understood by the multitudes, which explains why I've heard countless Christians say that the book is almost impossible to understand.  And I've also heard preachers say they steer clear of teaching out of it because of its complexity.

The few God chooses, however, will come to understand it. And once they see, it's so simple.  I now understand what Jesus meant when He said we must be like a child to enter the Kingdom of Heaven.

Looking forward to being a part of the Forum and continuing with my studies.

God Bless,
Annie

Hi Annie;

Welcome to the forum.  'And once they see, it's so simple.'  Amen!!  The scriptures truly harmonize and dovetail together wonderfully once God helps us to discard the false teachings that we have all been under.

Hello Anniejean,

My wife is called Doris Jean and we have four adult children.
Doris is not a member but has visited the conference with me
in the past.
We live in Northern Indiana in Plymouth and have been in several
church fellowships over the 49 years of our marriage.
Becoming separate and coming out of confusion was not easy but
we had lots of help especially from the brethren on the forum.
Please feel free to share as much as you wish and know that we
are here to serve all who come this way.

Warm regards, Indiana Bob & Doris

Thank you for your encouraging comment, Indiana Bob.  Please pray for my husband Steve.  He's a Christian but adheres to the traditional doctrines of Hell, the Trinity, etc.  My heart is heavy at times over this wedge between us, but I am trusting God will bring Him to the truth.

Have a beautiful day in Jesus!

Hi Annie

This truth can only come by way of the Spirit of God revealing it to you. You can read it but not know it and think you do. You can hear it but not understand it until you are shown the application of The Spirit of God moving you to receive His insights and Wisdom.

Looking forward to being a part of the Forum and continuing with my studies.

I found the way that God manifests through the members here to be very inspiring and also comforting. We have the basics here and learning to go forward into the deeper knowledge of God through study, is what we are all called and blessed to do.

Thank you to everyone who has warmly welcomed me here to the Forum.  I love it and feel so connected!

Jassy:  Funny you should mention John Denver because he is my No. 1 musical influence (I'm a singer/songwriter/producer).  I wrote him a fan letter when I was a kid and he sent me back a very nice note and autograph photo.  I still miss him so much and can hardly hold back the tears when I listen to his music.

I know,,,, fished out his cd after your post and sat there with eyes brimming till Potters Wheel and then I dissolved. He was a poet more than anything else with a beautiful spirit.

Well singer, songwriter, producer, seems we have some talented new members. Aatos has also just joined and she is an artist. Would also like to hear your wares if that is possible.
Love seeing and hearing new talent. Gives me inspiration to do better in my field.

Mornin' Jassy!

If you go to my info page here on the forum (just click on my name), you can send me an email and I will direct you to my music.

My husband I went to Bryce Canyon, UT in June and we were driving around listening to John's music.  During "Poems, Prayers and Promises" I broke down and was sobbing.  I hadn't listened to the song in years and the words were intense and heartbreaking considering the way he died so young.

It's been great meeting you and sharing our admiration for John and his timeless music.

Have a beautiful day!
