Letter of Recommendation
(1/1)
mcmiller:
As a former supervisor I have occassionaly been asked to write a letter of recommendation for a former employee. To avoid possible litigation over an un-flatering letter, the following statements can be used.
If you would prefer not to recommend because:
they are extremely lazy:
In my opinion, you will be very fortunate to get this person to work for you.
they are totally inept:
I most enthusiastically recommend this candidate with no qualifications whatsoever.
they had problems getting along with fellow workers:
I am pleased to say that this candidate is a former colleague of mine.
they are so unproductive, that the job would be better left unfilled:
I can assure you that no person would be better for the job.
they are not worth further consideration:
I would urge you to waist no time in making this candidate an offer of employment.
they have lackluster credentials:
All in all, I cannot say enough good things about this candidate or recommend him too highly.

judith collier:
This is exactly why i fought the use of manners growing up. Probably why all kids fight them.

Fester:
I must remember to remove mcmiller from my reference sheet!
