Duane, you are a good husband and your wife obviously loves you very much. I think that if the time comes in your life that you must be more assertive about your Spiritual needs, then God will give you that nudge and you will happily comply. For now, while you are healing, keeping your family in tact and lowering your stress and your wife's stress seems to me to be the logical and most loving thing you can do. Our lives are filled with seasons and it takes discernment to prioritize in these different seasons.
