Isa 26:9  With my soul have I desired thee in the night; yea, with my spirit within me will I seek thee early
Ecc 8:17  Then I beheld all the work of God, that a man cannot find out the work that is done under the sun: because though a man labour to seek it out, yet he shall not find it; yea further; though a wise man think to know it, yet shall he not be able to find it.
1Co 2:14  But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
Rom 9:16  So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Rom 9:18  Therefore hath he mercy on whom he will have mercy, and whom he will he hardeneth.
Rom 9:11  (For the children being not yet born, neither having done any good or evil, that the purpose of God according to election might stand, not of works, but of him that calleth;)
Eph 1:4  According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:
Eph 1:5  Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,
Act 14:22  Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
1Jn 4:17  Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
Luk 24:26  Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?
 1Pe 4:1  Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased from sin;
Gal 3:4  Have ye suffered so many things in vain? if it be yet in vain.
Php 3:8  Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
1Pe 2:21  For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps:
1Pe 5:10  But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.

--- Quote from: SandyFla on August 19, 2010, 12:45:26 AM ---Hello everyone,

My sister had such a good life. She wanted a certain man and she got him. The only man I ever really loved wouldn't give me the time of day and married someone else. My so-called marriage ended in divorce. She wanted a baby and got 2. I wanted a child, but I lost it before I even knew I was pregnant. She wanted a brand new home and again got 2. I'm still living in the same old condo. I don't begrudge my sister any of those things, and I'm glad she had a good life. I just wish God would've thrown me a bone.

My chances of having a "normal" life are over. When my mom's gone, I will be completely alone.

Hello Sandy,

Sorry to hear about your sufferings, the fact that they happen to all of us, doesn't make it feel any better. The quote from your first Post that I inserted in the above reminds me of Asaph in lamenting about the Wicked always seeming to prosper and sometimes when feeling depressed, we think to ourselves: " How long Jehovah." Your testimony and others at this board helps me to appreciate Our need for God's Kingdom and Christ's Return. It helps us to appreciate the time when Evil has run it's course and usefulness and done away with. No doubt about it, we are all experiencing the contrast of Evil and Good, praying for the time when all things are only good. I don't believe that I even know what's supposed to be a "Normal" life. Normal means what's common in a particular Culture or society, not what's necessarily Moral or Easy. I'm afraid that this is about as "Normal" as it gets, especially for those God is calling and choosing. I know it's tough to deal with the type of injustice you mentioned in regards to that Guy that robbed the house and DUI murdered those others, it seems that He got away with it, don't worry, He won't, nobody ever does. It would be happier for Him to be corrected by God in this lifetime, instead of experiencing God's Wrath in the next. Romans. 12:7-12(Vengeance is mine, I will repay). No need to worry about justice and seeking payment, God's going to take care of it.

                               Take Care, Samson.

Roy Coates:
Sandy,
God knows your heart and as uncomfortable as it is, He has you right where He wants you. When I experience though trials I reflect on the story of Job. Job had it ALL, Job lost ALL but his faith in God, God restored Job's worldly possessions and his faith was stronger. To be angry with God is to believe in God. You cant be angry at somethin(God) that you don't believe to be true. I beg the Lord Jesus Christ to comfort you, hold you in His arms, bless you with peace, understanding and healing. To protect you as He sees fit, In Jesus' name, Amen
