rapture today?

A young mother who went to school with my boys emailed me the
other day about a woman on facebook (lisa dennis-sparks) who has
been prophesying (?) that the rapture would take place today......
i think my friend was alittle scared about it....and asked my opinion...
probably because i post alot of scriptures, links, ect on fb....
i told her not to worry about it....i gave her a few scriptures to
ease her fears, ect.....now the time for the rapture has come & gone
and this lady is now apologizing for her wrong prediction, but also
saying that the rapture is still very iminent....judging by the post,
i think many people really took her seriously.....
just thought it was interesting that the rapture was supposed to be
today and thought it was interesting that someone i know would
ask me ( of all people) what i thought about it......wondering if this
is a sign of things to come?

Personally, if a friend of mine came to me telling me of a girl who claimed the rapture was today and asked me for my opinion, my response would've been,
"I don't know. Let me sleep on it, and I'll tell you tomorrow."

In seriousness, people everywhere are trying to predict major events [have you not heard of 2012]? I wouldn't worry too much about it. Besides Jesus already promised to protect us from the Wrath of God to come onto the world, and besides, God's in control. So just keep communicating with Him and doing your best to obey Him and if there's something you need to know about, I'm sure He'll give you the heads up.

I don't believe in the movie2012 nor the saying.
but as for flood disaster,yes!that's a fact because Modern Science and Technology.the Most important is Avarice knows no bounds,not because their purpose was bad,cuz God Makes Foolish the Wisdom of the World,I am not envious of scientist and rich man nor hate them.not really they are Foolish,cuz the rich man and scientist not the same person,if a person is rich man and scientist at the same time,things should be better than NOW,still what I said only in GOOD person way.
and I found something extremely amusing about 2012,cuz the movie2012， The film has not started shooting.
