would like to ask for prayer for my family....my dad is going in monday
for major surgery....this is his 4th surgery with bladder cancer....all we
know for sure is they have to remove the bladder and won't know
what else until they get inside and see whats going on...cat-scan did
show something on one kidney & one lung....dr. says he will have to
stay in the hospitol for at least a week....i don't know if my dad will
stay....he is a highly addicted smoker and can't go even a few hours
without a cigarette....my mom bears the brunt of his wrath if she
refuses to sneak cigarette's in the hospitol room for him....he is also
very diabetic and having blood sugar problems again which may
complicate his surgery....he is very stubborn and doesn't mind the dr's.
i know God has hardened his heart for a purpose, but is so hard on
my family....we have all endured much loss & heartache the last few
years and is really taking its toll...don't know how much more we can
take.....not asking God for a miracle, just
for the strength to endure.

lauriellen, boy that's a hard situation, 4 operations already. Wow. And then your dad not being hospital friendly to boot. I pray for your dad to have some peace and for your mother too. That all of you are able to let go and let God.
