confidence and faith

I think one can be confident about situations/things but do not have to have faith, for instance, a job interview;  you can be confident about how well you did; anyone can have self assuarance (arrogance?).  I think having faith gives you the confidence you need for the outcome; i.e. I feel confident about the interview but my faith will help me if I don't get the job (to deal with rejection) or if I do get the job (giving thanksl)-- whatever God wills.  So I guess for a believer it goes hand in hand; for a non believer I would say it doesn't.

To all, yes!!!! My faith has brought me confidence, not in myself but I know God is always there so I fear less and trust more. I am confident of his love even though I go through phases where it is very dry but He brings me back!1
