How Church destroyed my Faith, but Jesus found Me.

arion:
I'm finding out as I am getting older and God continues to work on me that it's not too uncommon for me to be on a forum (I am a member at several different ones) that I type out a reaction and sometimes spend quite a bit of time on it and then I think better of it and click the delete button before I post it.  A big part of that is to treat others the way I want to be treated.  We are all under a lot of stress of one sort or another and it's not getting any easier as our nation and in many cases our personal lives, seem to dissolve right in front of our eyes.  A lot of times when people post an abrasive comment it's not so much that they are aiming it at you personally as it is that things squirt out between the cracks and you happen to be the one that it squirts on.  We all have feet of clay and none of us have yet arrived.  I'm learning not to take myself so seriously and as I do I find it easier to pass by on things that before I would of unloaded on.

with regards to the contention this thread unmeaningly brought to light, a bit of wisdom i say to myself often is this; 'just because you can, doesn't mean you should.'

Thank you Samson. It touched my life in a very positive way :)

Thanks for posting this video. God made emotions in man. "Jesus wept" Some are more sensitive to their emotions than others are, but this video to me is an emotional one for me. It is a mirror image of myself also.

Words of wisdom.

It's not always what happens to us, but how we choose to respond.
