I'm glad you have joined us  :)
I see someone has already turned up not too far from you, that is great. I hope that since you have broken the ice with the introduction you will decide to join in some of the discussions.

This internet forum sure is convenient for fellowship with like minded people from all across the world. It would be nice to have local believers, where we could jump in the car and run down the road and visit with. But actually I think if I had a choice I would rather have the internet, so many more people to discuss things with. Besides you don't have to even leave your house. But if you see a discussion that you think you could make a point or comment on, do jump in.

I completely understand your situation. I feel lonely in my country (Poland). I don't believe I will ever find somebody with the same beliefs as mine, beliefs spread precisely by Mr. Smith's teachings. If somebody is a believer, he is probably a catholic, who goes to church on sunday and who probably has never read the Bible, regardless its translation. On the other side, you will find atheists or people who don't think about God and religon at all. Maybe there are some christian universalists, but I've never seen any polish website with those kind of teachings. Finding somebody who has read BT.com (and it is in english language) is rather impossible in my life :D :D Of course I could tell somebody about BT.com, but I doubt somebody will read it for many reasons (foreign language, lack of time, laziness, no interest in religion, attention focused on family or economical problems). It is really a miracle I'm here, among this amazing fellowship

Welcome Lost and found,

I'm a little South and a long way East of you in Indiana.
We don't have many in the area either.
It's is almost as if we were receiving private tutoring from our Lord
and even better we receive our training right in our own homes.
That's what is so great and so marvelous about our situation.
God has sent His son in the form of other believers who truly understand
what we are dealing with day by day.

I also appreciate that we have the same language. Think how much more
challenging it would be if our native language was Polish or French etc.

We anticipate hearing from you as often as you are able and as much as
you care to share about yourself or your experiences.
What is it like for a young person such as you living in Calgary?

I consider myself very fortune having met up with a few forum members here in the Uk. We have met up three times over the past two years. It takes a fair amount of travel and effort in order to meet but it's always worth it.However this would never have happened if it wasn't for the existence of this forum .
