An anthem for the moderators
« on: October 07, 2010, 06:34:01 PM »

Thought the moderators could use an anthem to call their own.  It's a catchy tune (although it's rap....might be too "young and hip" for the moderators  ;D), written by a guy who used to be the moderator for Nintendo.com, and thus expresses some of the frustrations that he faced on the job.  Anyways, thought it was a fun song that could serve as an anthem and tribute to the often misunderstood, frustrating, and thankless duty of the message board moderator.   ;)

Thanks moderators!   :)

Obey the Moderator(s)....or else!!!  ;D

Groovy.  I'm hep to that jive.  That's a pretty neato anthem.   ;D

I like Hip Hop and rap...long as there are chord changes and a melody somewhere, and it has soul.

That's all.  Got to go take my nap now.

Heb 10:32  But you must continue to remember those earlier days, how after you were enlightened you endured a hard and painful struggle.

I have one for bible-truths moderators:

(Boom boom boom, boom
Boom boom, boom boom.)

Got's no humor,
Not just a rumor,
Their jokes are sissy,
shoulda told ya'll sooner!!

Sar-casm gets blocked,
Furry kittens get stock,
But adding angry pitbulls usually gets a frank lock.

So how can one be lamer,
than protecting one complainer,
Who missed their class on humor cuz in church the words were tamer.

My ways the Lord has made,
With the addition of the potent koolaid,
So guys chill out and have a beer,
let humor be your aid!!

The music isn't better
by talking bout bathroom matter.

Humor has it's place
as long as it's not laced
with humor that is gross
or sarcastic laden roasts.

Humor is fun
as long as it's not over done.
By talking bout sticky buns

Our forum is a challenge
for a bum like me to balance.
Humor and serious matter
And all that other chatter

There's not lines in the sand
but boys in the band
should know that our hands
are not quick to ban.

Jokes and humor is funny
and yes we can talk about bunnies.
Until their bodily functions get runny.

I'm all for a chill
As long as it doesn't make me ill.
So don't make me take a pill
because sometimes I get my fill.

On other forums some of your humor may be appreciated Musicman. But not here.

As I've PMed you more than once (after one of the moderators removed a sample of your humor), we must always think about new people coming to this forum.

Mat 18:6  But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

Weather of not someone should or should not be offended by your humor is not the point. We don't want people who are new (little ones) to BT teachings leave this forum never to return because they were offended by your humor.

There still are many people in this world who are considerate and have manners. Some come here directly from the JW's, Baptists, etc. where bathroom topics and sexual innuendos are not appreciated. Let's give them a fighting chance to learn at least some of our beliefs.

Dennis, isn't it Longhorn who has the fetish for bathroom humor?

If it makes a squeak, if it vibrates, or even hums, it has no place on this forum.

Grape. We had a rooster like that. Called him Arnold. After the Terminator. All newcomers, rottweillers, Alsatians, cats, He used to sort out. He died of old age, which is a miracle in itself.  Thought it was perfect for our mods.
