Son Tim in Nepal
« on: October 14, 2010, 01:53:34 AM »

I know Tim is in God's hand but if you don't mind praying....

He is trekking the annapurna circuit and right now is at 17,000 feet and headachy.  He has fired his sherpa/guide and is now on his own. He has about 10 days left on the trail.

As a mom that does concern me a tad...even tho he served in the Marines for 8 years-  still.......

(google or wiki annapurna or Thorung La or Nepal...get some awesome pics)

thanks and love,
your sis,
gena

He's in our prayers Gena, thanks for the update.
Don't be anxious Mom, the foothills are there for good reason!

And whose this Anna Purna he's met up with? What the heck is she doing there?  ;D

Luv Ya  ;)

gena, i've been offline for a few days and just saw this thread.  i will keep tim in prayer as he climbs higher and higher.  i pray that each of his steps are as steady as a hind's feet upon the rocks.  Jesus Christ had much experience in the mountains.  He can surely watch over your tim.

Thank you Claudia.( His trek ends tomorrow and then he is off to Laos.) I love your image of the hinds feet and of Jesus in the mtns. Tim had many days of solitude up there, I hope he thought of these things.
