once I .......was proud and had a very strong character, thought I knew what was right for everybody in my family... Now I'm more silent, observant, ever learning and appreciating all the jewels of wisdom from BT and this forum.

Janine, that was a lovely post, I feel the same way as well, only I am not so elequent at expressing my feelings and sentiments.(wish I was)!!!

Blessings to all.

grapehound:
Hey Janine

I was AWOL when you posted that profoundly beautiful clarion.
I love this site for this reason.  The sheer nakedness of self that is expressed on these pages.
BT Forum is for me the spiritual reality of the scriptural 'Strongholds of Engedi'.
A provision of shelter for the gaining of strength.  As you say Janine, a safe harbour.
A level field, like Engedi's plains.

It's like a beautifully cut diamond, slowly turning in the darkness  of space, with a single Light piercing it's heart and drawing a perfect, sparkling spectrum from every inner facet.
To be cut into the brilliance of such a work is humbling and thrilling at the same time.

I give thanks, along with y'all, for the work of our Marvelous Placer.

Monologue from the one act play, "The Apple Tree":

Now must we hymn, the Master of Heaven,
The might of the Maker. The deeds of the Father.
The thoughts of His heart. He, Lord Everlasting
established the sun; the source of all wonder.

Creator, all Holy, He hung the high Heaven.
A roof, right upreared o'er the children of men.
The King of Mankind then created for mortals,
the World in it's beauty, the Earth spread beneath them.

Green grew the grass there; dew, dappled with daisies.
Towered the tall trees, bearing bright blossom.
Lovely and Living, the life giving Light came,
from Love Everlasting, the Spirit; the Lord!

Caedmon
The father of English poetry
