I can't even begin to say what relief is flooding into my heart over some of these lies exposed by Ray! I went to church after church after church and even though the sign outside said something different, the basic formula was identical...and I felt more and more jaded with every congregation and pastor I failed to 'connect' with. But no more! I know now that I don't need to attend church to grow closer to the Lord, and that reading the Holy Scriptures does not have to be a chore, or some kind of casual skimming of passages to make me 'feel' spiritual. My husband is not sure what to believe, but I'm happy to say he is not at all closed minded toward these teachings...He just wants to find out for himself, so that is what we are aiming to do. I've begun purchasing different translations of the Bible and, well, I'm so EXCITED to be in God's Word, with a HUNGER!!

Hi Moxicarose, so glad you are here. Every question I had wondered about, the answer was here. This is better than church where half the people couldn't even defend their faith if they had to. I just read where atheists scored better on a bible test than did christians.

Glad you joined the forum and blessings to you and your family.  There is nothing like when the scales begin to fall from our eyes and we see God as he really is and not as the various churches have painted him.  To be coming out of 'babylon' is not without great difficulty but the freedom is wonderful.  As an adjunct you don't need to purchase additional bibles if you don't want to.  The program called E-Sword is free and has modules of many different bibles you can download for nothing.  Ray uses E-Sword and many of us here do as well.  http://www.e-sword.net/

After reading Your Introduction, I noticed the Phrase, " The Basic Formula was Identical," I appreciated the way you put that. All of Babylon and it's Congregations contain " The Basic Formula," and I'm glad You recognize that. All of Babylon's Teachings have the Basic Formula(Much Falsehood & little Truth, if any). So, glad You were Navigated to this Forum By God and continue learning these Truth's explained to us through Ray.

Wow! I'm overwhelmed by the wonderful kind welcome from all of you here..It's truly a blessing to find a truly positive place to learn and grow in God's perfect wisdom and incredible LOVE! Something that just sort of hit me a moment ago: I have often mourned the reality that the Love of Jesus is missing in 'church', and now I know it's just because that isn't where JESUS IS! I've been spending so much time reading Ray's website, and it's been so amazing how almost all of my frustrations, confusions, and general over all bad feelings about the things I was taught all of my life, (and the people who have mistreated me in God's name)...well, those feelings are totally melting away! I am beginning to really grasp the 'peace that passes understanding" more than ever before!

Only by the deceptive way on wich they present their message, you can tell the whole thing is wrong. I don't even bother anymore on arguing if what  they are saying could have some truth on it. Now days, so many Very simplistic Emotional propaganda to the core. Same old formulas, and I think that they used the neme of Jesus with so much disrespect.
