Hi wcd,

Welcome to you and your wife, I'm glad you have joined us  :)
Wow you were a long time in WWCG! I was there for 15 yrs and be out about 15 yrs. I know what you mean by BT putting the puzzle together, I am still seeing pieces come together after years of study here. It is a wonderful feeling to have truth revealed.

I hope you will join in and fellowship with us. Some of those thing we learned in the church are deeply embedded, but must come out and they will in time. It is encouraging to have others to discuss these truths with, so to gain a better understanding.

Here are links so you can look around at what we have here.

Welcome to the Forum, B & C,

As Grapehound alludes to, Lot's of EX'S as part of Membership to be found at Bible-Truths. Ex JW"s, Ex WWCOG, Ex SDA'S, EX Catholics, Ex Pentecostals and probably a little of Ex-Everything, even some Ex-Wives,  ;D(just kidding). Yes, the World(GK-Kosmos, order or arrangement of things) found us unworthy and considered us as refuse, but God CAUSED us to find Our way here. We are thankful of that ! My apologies, this Post is a little goofy this Morning. The shoveling of Snow is beginning to infiltrate My nervous system,  ;).

                        Kind Regards, Samson.

LOL Samson!
Welcome B & C! We left church after being in traditional ones since childhood and then charismatic for about 5 yrs. All part of God's plan for which we are so grateful. My husband and I also had our eyes opened together. That is a blessing not all of us at BT have unfortunately.
Be blessed here!

Hi B and C

Welcome to you both!

Between my husband and I, we have over one century in all kinds of Churches from Protestant, Catholic and Pentecostal. It is lovely to have a breath of fresh air, away from them! We're in South Africa.

Samson ~ lol, the snow suits you!

Blessings

Hello B. & C.

A warm welcome to a couple of ole timers as we say.

My wife and I began with WCG in 1969 as well and we are the same age as you (75).
Well I am. My wife, sweetheart that she is, has never learned to count past 29
Anyway we stopped attending in 1999 over changes and confusion of holding services on seventh and first day of the week
so as not lose any old members. Also the adoption of the trinity from mainstream protestant traditions.

I have a grandma who's name was McPherson and who lived in North Ireland
and my Dad's side is German/Danish, Norwegian.

Hope to hear a lot about your journey of faith.

Kindly, indianabob & Doris

Dear Everyone,  I can't believe so many have replied to us . Thank you, Thank you very much. It is quite exciting to actually have contact with people who believe these things that we are learning.  We have been reading for six years and have only just decided to join the forum  - caution, nervousness - whatever - but God knows the best time.   Kat thank you for all the information, but even more I have been longing to Thank you for all your hard work doing the transcripts. I know how much work it is as I have tried a few myself and there is alot to work out.                       Luv C.D
