Island in the middle of the sea

I'm wondering if there are any other Christians, who grew up in an agnostic  family. Most Christians I know of have believing parents and grew up as sunday or Saturday observing church goer's. All my family and friends are unbelievers. I don't personally know any other Christians.

I can't relate to your question as I grew up with christian values and beliefs.....however, now that I know the truth it does not realy matter wether I did or not.....until God showed me the real message of salvation, I was just as lost as the rest of the so called christians out there.

By the way.....what does island in the middle of the sea mean?  Do you live on an island or do you feel like an island?

TGN...if you lived your whole life and don't know any Christians, that's a pretty sad commentary on Christians!  Has NO ONE ever tried to "witness" to you?

TGN:  consider yourself lucky!  They are more hostile than agnostics probably.  I didn't grow up in a "Christian" home at all. 

when i became a "babylonian christian" I made matters worse in my family by always judging them....30 years later and they are still suspicious of me- even tho I haven't tried to "save" them in years!!

I thought the topic had ended, but thankyou for your reply. In the two posts I submitted my mind was completely directed toward "church doctrine" and that exclusively. Then two of the moderaters on this site posted, and God opened up the truth of this matter to me. And Yes, I do literely live on an island in the middle of the sea, The largest one in the world, I believe.

The answer to your question is no, no christian has ever witnessed to me (I was deceived by the church on line, which is probably the same thing) I do know Christians who God brought out of the church, But went straight back into tho world.

People like yourself is why I started this post! I'm so happy to see that others are not from christian backgrounds, however lots of "mainstream Christians" are better Christians than me.   I rely, on God to "save" my parents and always have. If not in this life, in the second Resurrection. Luckily I was only deceived by orthodox church teachings for maybe six months, before finding bibletruths.
