As the saying goes: http://forums.bible-truths.com/index.php/topic,13054.msg114355.html#new
Yes Marques,
Just finished reading that New Email response of Ray's to My Wife & appreciated that point. An apparent contradiction if We accept the " Forever & Ever " rendering, as demonstrated when comparing those three Scriptures.
Revelation 14:11 the smoke from their tormenting goes up forever and ever(Eons of the Eons). They have no rest, day or night, those who worship the beast and its image and those who receive the mark of its name."
Rev 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices
in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms
of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign FOR EVER AND EVER(For Eons of the Eons).
1Co 15:24-28 Then comes the end, when He shall have delivered up
the kingdom to God, even the Father; when He shall have put down
all rule and all authority and power. For He must reign, TILL [the
word 'till' means 'UNTIL'] He hath put all enemies under His feet.
How can Christ Reign Forever & Ever, if He DELIVERS UP THE KINGDOM TO HIS FATHER. Even My New King James Version didn't change the For Ever and Ever at Rev. 11:15, I was surprised to see that since in some Scriptures in the New Testament they translate the plural "Aions" as Ages, but I didn't find instances where they do that in Revelation.
Thanks for opening this for our review, Samson.
