Greetings to all.
My background, well, I'm a pretty boring person so I'll spare you that. I'll just say I'm in Northern Ohio and I'm closing in on 60, fast.
I've read many of Ray's writings which are posted here. I'm very impressed. He has spent incredible amounts of time in searching out God's truth as contained in the Scriptures and I appreciate that. Many I have copied to my Kindle so I can read and re-read them easier.
I'm looking forward to learning more, discussing it and taking to heart what I have already learned. (It's one thing to know right from wrong, it's another to do right.) I also need to commit to memory some of the concepts presented here and be able to quote, from memory, chapter and verse in defense of those concepts. 1 Pet3:15b
". . . and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:"
Main concepts I've found here:
1. There is no hell. (except in Michigan, look it up)
2. God will redeem everyone and won't leave any in an eternal LOF.
3. Man does not have "Free Will". Everything has been planned by God and everything is going exactly the way he planned it. (Yes, EVERYTHING!!)
4. If a televangelist says it, the opposite is probably true. lol
5. Listen to your roofer.
I've already:
Checked out the forum rules.
Perused the General discussion board.
Browsed the Child board for General discussion board - FAQ
Scanned the Forum Indexes & Info.
Watched (some) of Ray's Videos
Downloaded Ray's Audios
Read Transcripts of Ray's 2008 Audios
Overlooked the Off Topic board
scanned the child board on Off Topic board
Haven't gotten to the Testimonies / Prayer Requests / Fellowship board
Haven't seen Child boards (since they are only available to members) on Testimonies board
Then there's still Members Recipes, for sharing recipes and food tips
Did I miss one, kat?
I'm not much of a "forum" (read: sociable) person. I deactivated my facebook page for lack of use. So I will be an often visitor but an infrequent poster. It takes me too long to compose a post. I've already spent two hours on this one!
