Me too, I can identify with many of the author's feelings at the time.  When stumbled across my first teaching [on tithing] I knew that I was reading the truth.  But when I read about what Ray had to say about hell I thought he was a heretic because after all Jesus was clear [or so I thought] about 'hell'.  I thought of Ray, 'Well, even a blind squirrel finds a nut now and then.'  I left the website and stumbled across it again several months later and being bored really started to read and I've never looked back sense then.  Of a truth you can count the seeds in an apple but you can never count the apples in a seed and this place is full of fruitful seeds.

I pretty much fell in love with his style of writing and was hooked almost immediately from the first time I wrote him and he wrote me back.  But because of my lack of study/understanding and my immaturity, I had some pretty rough times.  He brought out the worst (the beast) in me. 

I remember an email he got from someone who gave him a hard time and later said to him, "I'm sorry, but you bring out the worst in me!"  And he replied to the effect of, "That's alright!  I want all the bad stuff brought out of me, too!"  lol

Good thing is, if God is calling you, you can run but you can'T hide.  :D
