 Back in 1950, when I was a little boy (very little boy--I might add!!) "OLD Mrs. Murphy" an elderly lady in our church called up my father on the telephone "party line" and frantically yelled: "Pastor! Pastor!--The Lord is returning!! He is PARTING THE SKY with His finger!--Hurry out side and look looked up!

Dad ran out and looked up and sure enough-- a white "vapor trail" divided a clear blue sky!  (traced clearly by "Lord's finger"!!)

Dad looked in amazement for a minute and then returned to the telephone and carefully calmed her down, explaining to her-- that what she was seeing was a brand-new KIND of AIR TRAVEL called a "JET AIRPLANE"!!  and what she was seeing was VAPOR  from the airplane's  exhaust----!

Sounds kind of funny in today's world---but it WASN'T to her!
