Peacetime - martial law?

Anyone hear about this? Apparently Obama signed an executive order pretty much putting this in effect on friday. I'm on my phone, so limited searching abilities atm. But i saw a few people who were worried about it mention this on facebook, so thought i'd check here.

From what I can gather, (and THAT'S assuming it's even true and factual) it's part of an executive order which would allow for the calling of martial law in peacetime, not a 'declaration of martial law effective friday'.    You're going to have to find this via your own news sources.  Almost every "source" I saw that mentioned it had a political slant.  We're not going to sus this out here.
